Volstead Cocktail

  • 1 oz Rye whisky
  • 1 oz Swedish Punsch (substitute Myers Rum, if you wish)
  • 1⁄2 oz fresh orange juice
  • 1⁄2 oz raspberry syrup (substitute Chambourd, if you wish)
  • 1 dash anisette (substitute absinthe, licorice syrup, if you wish)
  • Orange peel, for garnish

Shake well with ice, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish optional—an orange peel is nice.
