2 oz. brandy 1 oz. sweet vermouth 1/2 oz. simple syrup 2 dashes Angostura bitters Shake with ice, strain, cocktail glass. Garnish with a cherry.


2 oz. rye 1/2 oz. sweet vermouth 1/2 oz. dry vermouth 1/4 oz. green chartreuse 1 dash maraschino Mix. Probably in a Nick-and-Nora, but whatever's at hand is good. Garnish with a brandied cherry.

The Savoy Hotel Special Cocktail (No. 1)

1 dash Pernod (absinthe) 2 dashes Grenadine 1 part sweet Vermouth 2 parts Dry Gin Shake well and strain into a cocktail glass. Top with some champagne or prosecco. Garnish with lemon peel.
