Bourbon and Blood

  • 1 ounce blood orange liqueur
  • 1 ounce sweet vermouth
  • 1 ounce bourbon whiskey
  • 1–2 dashes orange bitters
  • 6 small leaves tarragon

Shake and strain. Garnish with orange peel.

I left out the tarragon, and used a regular orange liqueur, and it wasn't half bad. It's a decent aperitif.
